Part 1!!
Why Do We Need This System?
We are expecting to kill Tarintus and other raid bosses many times in the near future as an alliance. In order to maintain alliance stability, Tarintus loots must be distributed fairly. Tarintus loot distribution will be mostly based on participation and not level. Although this system will sound complicated, it will ultimately eliminate conflict and greed. The following system was devised by Driade and me.

Guild and Teams
Since Tarintus would not require 50 people to kill, only some alliance members would be able to join the raid. Each of the 5 guilds can form their own team of 1 team leader and 6 team members. If one guild has more than 7 people who want to raid, the 8th person would have to join another guild’s team. If all teams are full, the 8th person may not join the raid. Each guild may only have 1 team (or 7 people) representing them. Once the regular team members received all the items they want, they wouldn’t want to raid anymore. Hence, the 8th person may take over that spot.

Team Requirements
For right now, there will be three major guilds participating in the raid: Sirenia/DarkTranquility(DT), Amatsusuki, and Outlaws. Since there are 3 guilds, there will be 3 teams of 7 people, totaling to 21 participants.

1. Every guild will vote on one Team Leader to make their team. It is up to the Team Leaders to decide who they want to bring as their team to the raid. Some guilds may have many active guild members, but not all of them can join. The Team Leader is responsible for picking the specific members.
2. Team Leader must bring a team of at least 5 guild members. If your team does not consist of 5 guild members, your team is disqualified from receiving drops. There is no such thing as a 1-man (or woman) team. Also, this would prevent the team leader from intentionally not inviting members to their team in order to avoid sharing loots.
3. The team leader and all other team members must be at least level 75 and has already gained their job change. Also, they must have at least 3,000 hp. This is to prevent one guild from bringing a team of mules and count them as team members. A team of mules wouldn’t help in bringing down Tarintus. If you want to farm lucky 77 4th boxes, that is fine, but the mule does not count as a team member. Therefore, requirement #2 still applies.
4. Tarintus raid is strictly an alliance raid. We do not wish to see a non-alliance guild dominating the raid. From requirement #2, 5/7 team members must be guild members. 2/7 members can be any GUILDLESS team member. They can be the team leader’s friends, substitutes, etc. However, they must be guildless. This is not to say that you can’t have 7 guild members, just saying you must have at least 5 guild members.
5. If you are not level 75 and have 3000 hp, but want to participate in Tarintus Raid, you may come and try. However, you will not be eligible for the drops. You may start your own party with other alliance members.

I fairly agree to opposed her above, except
Not me includign when i'll join it will be when i'm inquirer not with fiedeldie, but
A lower level full support can be a good addition to the raid formation. As with such i cannot agree with the strict 75 level in it. Allthough for not full support (till maybe someone else proves another good thing) i can agree with the level.

Part 2!!

Distribution Method
When Tarintus dies, its loots will be distributed based on an exclusive item line-up chart. This means that every guild is waiting in line for every possible drop from Tarintus. The order of which you get a helmet will be different than the order of which you get a belt.

1. After Tarintus dies, every team will be automatically handed loots. Depending on what rarity Tarintus drops, one team may get 2 reds and one team may get nothing. If one team isn't getting anything, it means that that team have received the item already while the 2 other teams have never gotten it once.
2. The distribution will be based on history and line-up. If one team received a helmet their 1st week, they may not receive another helmet until the other two teams have received a helmet. This will apply to every single possible drop. If Sirenia/DT received a belt their 1st week, Sirenia/DT will not receive another belt until Amatsuki and Outlaws both received a belt. This implies that if 2 teams have already gotten Item A, the chance of your team receiving item A is 100% (as soon as it drops).
3. The alliance can only determine which guild gets the item. The alliance will NOT determine which guild members get the item. The drops will be handed directly to the team leader. It is up to the team leader’s discretion to do whatever they like with the drop they received. If any guild feels that their team leader is too greedy, they may start their own team. However, the new team must meet Team Requirements listed above. The original team will also be disqualified and not be recorded in the line-up.

Data Tracking and Recording
If any Team Leader feels that there’s a mistake with the item line-up. They can refer to the Tarintus Loot Line-Up thread to check exactly what items each team has gotten and where they stand for getting the items they want. Keep in mind that only the end-result is absolutely fair (end-result = Item X has dropped 3x). When the item drops the first time, fourth time, seventh time, etc… all three teams have not received it. There is no way to determine which team will get it first, second, or third. The only guarantee is that if you didn’t get the first or second time, you will definitely get it the third time. So Team leaders, please be patient with the system and everyone will get what they want eventually.

When Does This System Applies?
As an added incentive for alliance members to stay as active as possible, this system will not be used when we catch Tarintus during a Random Spawn Time. Tarintus will spawn randomly between 4-7 days and Spawn 100% after server maintenance. If we catch Tarintus during a Random Spawn Time, we may have lesser amount of players who can come. Those players that come are usually the most active and therefore should be awarded. The loot distribution during a Random Spawn Time will truly be random; it is up to the person who received all the loot to do whatever they like with it. The loots during Random Spawn Time will also not be recorded and will not affect Line-Up. This system will only be used and updated for every server maintenance Tarintus Kill.

Any additional suggestions or changes are appreciated. You post below or PM me ingame for detailed answers. IGN is masta1128.

Sample Line-Up
This is just a sample with made up loots and data. The official line up is on a different thread, under Tarintus Loot Line-Up. Hopefully with this example, guild leaders will understand how this works. Depending on what item drops, we will use the previous week’s line up to determine who gets the item. Watch for the asterisks *.

1. All dates/times are listed in PDT, or server time.
2. The Closer you are towards the left, the closer you are to getting the item listed.

Line Up as of 10/01: The Very First Kill
Red A:
Red B:
Red C:
Red D:
Green A:
Green B:
Green C:
Green D:
* Right now, no team has gotten anything, everyone is at same standing.

Date of Kill: October 8th, 1:00 AM
Items Dropped: Red A, Red B, Green A, Green C.
Team Leaders Received:
Sirenia/DT (Red A)
Amatsuki (Red B )
Outlaws (Green A, Green C)
Line Up for 10/15th Kill:
Red A: Amatsuki Outlaws Sirenia/DT
Red B: Sirenia/DT Outlaws Amatsuki
Red C:
Red D:
Green A: Sirenia/DT Amatsuki Outlaws
Green B:
Green C: Sirenia/DT Amatsuki Outlaws
Green D:
* If Tarintus were to drop the items listed above, the line up order would start getting filled. Notice how if one team was to get a certain item, they are immediately placed at the right-most spot, which is last place. Since Sirenia/DT got Red A on October 8th, they will not get it again until Amatsuki and Outlaws get it.

Date of Kill: October 15th, 12:30 AM
Items Dropped: Red B, Red C, Green A, Green D.
Team Leaders Received:
Sirenia/DT (Green A, Green D)
Amatsuki (Red C)
Outlaws (Red B )
Line Up for 10/21st Kill:
Red A: Amatsuki Outlaws Sirenia/DT
Red B: Sirenia/DT Amatsuki Outlaws
Red C: Sirenia/DT Outlaws Amatsuki
Red D:
Green A: Amatsuki Outlaws Sirenia/DT
Green B:
Green C: Sirenia/DT Amatsuki Outlaws
Green D: Amatsuki Outlaws Sirenia/DT
* Look at Green A: Outlaws got Green A on October 15th. Sirenia/DT got Green A on October 21st. So, Amatsuki is next in line, followed by Outlaws who will go for their 4th Green A.

Date of Kill: October 21st, 11:50 PM
Items Dropped: Red D, Red B, Green B, and Green C.
Team Leaders Received:
Sirenia/DT (Red D, Green C)
Amatsuki (Green B )
Outlaws (Red B )
Line Up for 10/28th Kill:
Red A: Amatsuki Outlaws Sirenia/DT
Red B: Sirenia/DT Amatsuki Outlaws
Red C: Sirenia/DT Outlaws Amatsuki
Red D: Amatsuki Outlaws Sirenia/DT
Green A: Amatsuki Outlaws Sirenia/DT
Green B: Outlaws Sirenia/DT Amatsuki
Green C: Amatsuki Outlaws Sirenia/ DT
Green D: Amatsuki Outlaws Sirenia/DT
*By following this system, the teams will not be guaranteed a drop every Tarin kill. The actual drop (Red A, Green C, etc) is used to check who gets the item. It is possible that one team may get 2 reds and the other teams 0. For example, if Red A and Red D were to drop on 10/28th, then Amatsuki would get both.

If you were to follow this infinitely, no team would ever receive one item 2x without other teams receiving the same item 1x. After all, the value of Red and Green is too general. The demand for a belt is higher than a helmet; therefore we cannot say that they are equal, even though both are Red items. That is why we are not going to count how many red items each team has gotten so far. We are counting what types of item each team has gotten so far. If one team does receive 2 Reds, it actually means they were 2 Reds behind everyone else.

Quote (FiedelDie)
As with such i cannot agree with the strict 75 level in it. Allthough for not full support (till maybe someone else proves another good thing) i can agree with the level.

The level requirement is necessary because 1. skills are capped and 2. the necessary hp capacity. Although most classes have enough hp to meet requirement #2, most classes can't meet requirement #1.
If you are an attacker class and not level 75, most of your skills are capped early, therefore significantly weaker and unable to harm tarintus. What good can a team member that does 1 damage help the raid?
If you are a healer class, your skill cap doesn't matter, but you might not have enough hp capacity. Most healers don't have 3k hp if they are not level 75. What good can a team member that dies very often?

Most of the Tarintus drops would require you to be level 80 at least to use. I think the alliance raid is not a fun fun event. It is more of a "let's work hard towards earning the treasure." Therefore, you must be eligible before you can receive reward. However, I did add a part where any level guild members can come and try Tarintus. However, they won't be eligible for the drops.

MOST IMPORTANT RULE OF ALL

In order for this system to work, the person who receives all the drop must share. When Tarintus dies, all drops will go to the person who did the most damage. It is expected of that person to follow this system and trade the loots based on Line-Up. If the person does not share, he/she will be immediately excluded from future raids. Remember, Tarintus death is a group effort, no one deserves all the loot for themselves. Guild leaders that don't agree with this rule, please let me know.

I believe all of this to be very well thought out and don't find anything I would disagree on. All seems fair to me :D.
